Oprah, Ellen and Wayne Agree on Miraval

Posted by in Hotel, Travel | May 21, 2013

The three of us agree Miraval is a top-rated all-inclusive destination retreat – a resort, an award-winning spa, and a great getaway. Situated in the warm shade of Santa Catalina Mountains in northern Tucson, Arizona on 400 acres of idyllic land, Miraval is a place dedicated to opening eyes, minds, and hearts. For 16 years, Miraval has built its programming around the concept of Life in Balance™.

Recently, I had the opportunity to sit down with Miraval’s Candace Taylor, Director of Travel Industry Sales.  We customized an exclusive offering for WayneTraveler guests for four days and nights, September 26-30, 2013.  I appreciate Miraval’s unique program offerings for even the most discriminating resort spa customer (hmmm, wonder who this might be?).

The WayneTraveler itinerary presents an all inclusive long weekend getaway with an appeal to couples, singles and those new to the resort spa experience.  Consider organizing a guys or girls weekend, yoga class retreat, Facebook friend spa escape or an adult multigenerational experience (my wife and I are inviting our daughter to join us).

The 4 night price is so right — $2,425 per person, based on double occupancy.  In addition to unlimited regularly scheduled activities, lectures and programs, the rate covers transfers to and from Tucson Airport, resort fees and taxes, breakfast, lunch & dinner daily, all snacks, non-alcoholic beverages and hors d’oeuvres.

Plus… WayneTraveler negotiated an $800 per person resort credit to be applied to fee based spa services, golf, equine, cooking, and unique Miraval private sessions and custom activities.

The best thing about Miraval is it is any kind of experience you want to make it:  fitness, pampering, wellness, therapy, relaxation, education, and spiritual retreat.  I love that Miraval is a casual environment.  Cell phone use is discouraged and there is a bar serving alcohol.  Even in the dining room most guests are comfortable in casual attire or even yoga wear or fitness clothing.

My only concern… you will not want to leave.  Contact me for further details.
